When I started thinking about the layout, the first thing I could think of was breasts. Originally I dismissed it because I believed a) it wouldn't be something Vox would want printed, and b) it was the obvious answer and would be done to death.
. . . I kind of got stuck on the idea, though. This is how it turned out:
I used the dotted line to play up the idea that she had lost her breasts and then carried it through to the pull-quotes and photos to show the things she had done to replace them.
